DILETTA PAY
White-label BaaS
One product base for 3 custom banks and 5 white-label brands · N26 Brazil, Inovanti Bank (today Humu) and Cocatrel Coffee Pay · BRL 2 to 16M in daily transactions at Inovanti
One product backbone, many banks. I designed the structure that let Diletta Pay become, without a redesign for each client, the bank of a German fintech entering Brazil, of a coffee cooperative, of a fuel distributor, of a fintech for artists and of a real estate group.
Company
Diletta Solutions
Segment
B2B2C · BaaS / white-label embedded finance · Multi-brand theming. Clients in FinTech, energy (fuel), agribusiness (coffee cooperativism), real estate and the creator economy.
Stage
Scale-up incubated at the Unicamp Science and Technology Park (Campinas, SP). Around 100 professionals in total, half dedicated to Diletta Pay (January 2023 report, six months after I left).
Target audience
Two-sided. Paying side: whoever licenses the platform to launch their own digital bank (fintechs, distributors, cooperatives, business groups, foreign banks entering Brazil). Using side: whoever holds an account in each brand (account holders, cooperative members as individuals and their farms as legal entities, artists, employees).
Business model
Two tracks. Diletta On: custom development on demand, charged per project. Diletta Pay Suite: white-label platform with a low setup fee plus a monthly fee per active account (pricing as of January 2023, per press reporting, not confirmed for my period).

On demand (Diletta On)
Custom banks, charged per project, for clients whose needs had little in common. A foreign bank entering Brazil required a robust internal admin system behind its app, not just screens for the account holder. A coffee cooperative needed its members to bank both as individuals and as their farms. Each delivery was expensive, which kept this track limited to a few large contracts.
•
Admin system for N26 in Brazil. I worked on the internal back office behind N26's Brazilian banking app, the part not exposed to the public, together with the CTO, the Product Owner and the design and development squad.
•
Banking flows reusable across sectors. I designed digital account, TED, Pix, boletos, mobile top-up and statement on a single product base, used for both Inovanti Bank (today Humu) and Cocatrel Coffee Pay without redesigning screen by screen for each sector.
•
Collection issuance by CPF or CNPJ. I designed the flow that lets a Cocatrel cooperative member operate as an individual and as their farm, a legal entity, within the same account.
•
Design system on Material Design. I documented and managed the system to support simultaneous deliveries, with validation through usability testing on Maze.

Collaborated with N26, Europe's leading mobile bank with a US$9B valuation, to manage 4M users, support the bank's first profitable year and design core banking management features.

N26's Brazilian app delivered in one-fifth of the usual market time and cost, according to Diletta Solutions, with automatic AI categorization, personalized savings goals and integrated financial education, positioned as the first "fincare" solution in Brazil.

BRL 2 to 16 million in daily transaction volume at Inovanti Bank (today Humu).

Cocatrel Coffee Pay live in September 2021, serving cooperative members both as individuals and through their farms as legal entities.
White-label (Diletta Pay Suite)
The white-label platform only paid off if a single architecture could serve brands from very different sectors without a redesign per contract. Most of those brands did not come from banking: a fuel distributor, a real estate group, an artist community, each with a usage profile far from a traditional bank. Every new client had to arrive as a configuration, never as a new project.
•
Replicable Suite architecture. I structured modules, features and flows so that each new client entered on the same product architecture instead of becoming a new project.
•
Single token architecture. Tokens stayed the same across every client. Only global values (color, typography and similar) changed per brand, so no brand required recreating components.
•

5 brands launched on the platform: Agilebank, BFPAY, Discovery Bank and Trybu Pay, plus Bold, Diletta's own bank, adopted by every employee for their day-to-day banking.
